PRP- Platelet Rich Plasma

Treatments are done by taking a sample of your blood that is subsequently centrifuged to bring out the platelet-rich plasma. Subsequently multiple superficial injections into the scalp are made. Following injections, these platelets release growth factors that stimulate follicle growth. This treatment may be useful for men and women with mild to moderate baldness or thinning of the hair.

During pregnancy and postpartum it may be normal to lose hair or become thinner.

PRP treatments contain PDGF, VEGF, TGF-B, EGF and FGF growth factors that stimulate hair growth and tissue regeneration.

The treatment protocol is usually, according to the sex, from 3 to 4 sessions at intervals of 1 month.

Maintenance sessions will be required every 6 to 12 months depending on the degree of baldness.
